Tam & Peg’s Excellent Adventure
French Open & Beyond, 2008
Off to Paris!
On May 31st, 2008, we will begin our trip. Uncle Tom has spent (literally) hundreds of hours managing every imaginable, minute detail of our trip. We leave Denver early Saturday morning, layover in Dallas (where Turk will visit us in the Admirals Club for a few hours), then fly overnight to Paris, arriving at 9am, local time. Then, the whirlwind begins!

THEN the whirlwind begins? Sounds like it’s already begun. Do you have a proper suitcase?

The whirlwind has begun. I packed last night just to make sure that our new luggage could accomadate everything and it did. I still have room for leather boots for my sweet neice. Love to all.

We definitely are out of touch. You mentioned in your last e-mail that you and Tammy were going on a trip, but not where you were going. Sounds wonderful! If he’s still at Rolland Garros when you get there, get me James Blake’s autograph. Have a wonderful time.
Love you.

Quelle bonne advendure! In case nobody tipped you yet, try “Excuse/Pardon moi, si vous plait” rather than “Garcon” When trying to get the waiter’s attention… it will work better ;). Have fun!!! Wish I could go along and test my translation skills! Bon voyage!

I just told Mike that you were planning to walk the streets of Paris and he informed me that isn’t quite proper. Did that ever worry you two? Glad you had a successful trip over. Get some sleep, you need it. Love you, Mom

It is Thursday morning here and you two are in Versailles. I’m wishing you a lovely sunny day and pure enjoyment. It is such a treat to see your pictures and read about your experiences first hand. This blog is just wonderful. Love you.

Tammy,
I loved the pictures of Normandy. Looks like you had some tough weather yesterday. You had to be awestruck standing there looking over the beach.
All is well here at work. Stacey and I have been very busy with YOUR customers as usual. Just so that you know, you did finish #1 last month. Stacey and I both want you to have a great vacation but we are secretly counting the days until you return.
